Hello Locals! After a nearly TWO year hiatus, Triple L has returned to her initial love: Blogging. Turns out, I have been paying for this website this entire time (LOL). So, BUCKLE IN, your girl will be attempting to get her money’s worth;)

This week, I want to do a round-up of events happening in Hamilton for Halloween and there are a lot!
1. UNHOLY A HOUSE OF ADAM AND STEVE HALLOWEEN EVENT
DATE: October 29th, 2022
TIME: 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
Location: Announced morning of (Downtown Hamilton)
Cost: $40

4 ROOMS. 2 LEVELS. 1 SECRET VENUE.
Adam And Steve know how to throw a party and this event seems to have it ALL! Free Tarot Card readings, a dance party, a drag show and more. Your ticket gives you unlimited access to each room and experience.
2. RAPSCALLION & CO. INVITES YOU TO GET FREAKY
Date: Saturday, October 29th
Time: 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
Location: 178 James St. N.
Cost: $35

If you’re looking for a fun environment and great food, check out this event at Rapscallion! Enjoy your favourite apps, see live magic, experience a Tarot Card reading and groove to a DJ.
3. And Then You Feel Good Halloween Edition
Date: Saturday, October 29th
Time: 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
Location: 145 Main St. E.
Cost: I’m guessing the usual $10 at the door

I haven’t heard too many details about this event, but Andthenyou is one of my favourite spots for dancing. They are offering a “groovy, safe, fun and inclusive underground dancing space”. So, if you’d like, dress up and enjoy a night out; they are always spinning great music!
4. COLLECTIVE ARTS HAMILTON PRESENTS: WERQ THE MIC HALLOWEEN EDITION
Date: Thursday, October 27th
Time: Doors at 7 p.m. show at 8 p.m.
Location: 207 Burlington St. E.
Cost: $25

Here’s the description: “BOO! Werq the Mic a drag comedy show… with a little bit of lip syncing is BACK BACK BACK AGAIN with a creepy spooky Halloween edition! A ticket gets you hot acts of improv, standup, live songs, lip syncing and SO MUCH MORE, with Chansa Showers, Miss Hunni Kruller, Selena Vyle and Viza Decline!”
There will also be a Halloween costume competition with prizes and an afterparty from 10 p.m.-12 a.m.!
5. COLLECTIVE ARTS BOTTOMLESS PIT HALLOWEEN BASH
Date: Saturday, October 29th
Time: 8 p.m.- 12 a.m.
Location: 207 Burlington St. E.
Cost: $55

Here’s the description: “Enjoy all we have to sample from 8 p.m. until the taps shut off at midnight! Back by popular demand, Jerus Nazdaq will be supplying the vibe all night. Bring your appetite for Angels Wings Devils Poutine Food Truck, featuring a range of wings, poutines, and more! HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST: Winner will walk out with over $500 worth of Collective Arts products!”
6. Grain & Grit Dog Day Halloween
Date: Sunday, October 30th
Time: Noon-6 p.m.
Location: 11 Ewen Rd.
Cost: Free

Here’s the description: “You and your pups are invited to join Grain & Grit for a Halloween bash! Bring your doggo in costume and enter the Doggy Costume contest with prizes for best costume and best family costume. Fetching Studios will be offering mini-portrait sessions for your pet and Fairly Frosted will be serving up delicious vegan treats. Rain or shine.”
7. THE BRIDGEWORKS THE END OF THE WORLD Fundraiser
Date: Monday, October 31st
Time: 9 p.m.
Location: 200 Caroline St. N.
Cost: $20

8. Rocky Horror At The Playhouse
Date: October 28th, 29th and 31st
Time: 10:00-10:30 p.m.
Location: 177 Sherman Ave. N.
Cost: $14 (for non-members)

Last year, I saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time at The Playhouse and it was SO much fun! I think it is going to be an annual tradition for me now. I don’t want to spoil anything (in case you haven’t seen this cult classic in theatres) but, let me just say, it is an EXPERIENCE you don’t want to miss!
