I’ve been meaning to check out my SweeTooth for the longest time based solely on the fact that the exterior of the shop is so cute! I mean, look at that rabbit- come on! Well, last Friday I had the pleasure of checking it out and, unsurprisingly, the interior is just as pleasing.
Located on Main St West in downtown Hamilton, My SweeTooth is a modern, Asian fusion bakery and cafe which officially debuted last January and it has been charming customers ever since.
Upon entering the shop, my friend Cynthia and I were immediately greeted and asked if it was our first time visiting. We listened attentively to the list of yummy options and I opted for the Earl Grey Boba with my choice of milk (oat) and a scrumptious piece of Thai crepe cake. Cynthia went with a cupcake garnished with a strawberry and washed it down with a cup of hot black coffee. I have to note that the staff at My SweeTooth were extremely warm and friendly which made my experience all the more enjoyable.
After making our purchases Cynthia and I took our treats outside to enjoy on the patio. Since there’s currently only one table, if you’re looking for a seat I’d recommend taking a quick stroll down to Locke Street.
My Earl Grey Boba was delicious and although I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish the crepe cake because it might be too sweet, I was pleasantly surprised; it was the perfect sweetness ratio for frosting!
My SweeTooth is a delightful addition to the city and a must-try for lovers of sweet confections. The stylish atmosphere, quality desserts and excellent customer service set this shop apart and will ensure loyal customers. I will definitely be returning to try the (famous) cream puffs and explore more of the drink menu. Have you visited my SweeTooth yet? Where should I go next?
